We were really pleased to hear recently that the government has now back-tracked on their plans to increase the VAT on static caravan sales later this year.
Along with the much maligned ‘pasty tax’, the ‘caravan tax’ was introduced in the budget earlier in the year, but after some determined campaigning from caravan park owners and many others in the tourism industry, they have decided to raise the VAT by just 5% instead of the planned 40%.
Obviously this is great news for anyone considering buying a caravan as a holiday home, and great news for us, because we can carry on offering superb luxury holiday homes on our
